Thongsbridge Cricket Club is delighted to announce that we will be hosting one of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC) Engagement Roadshows. This exciting event is part of a county-wide initiative to shape the future of Yorkshire cricket, running from Monday 25th November to Monday 9th December.

The roadshow at Thongsbridge will take place on Wednesday, 27th November, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM and offers a unique opportunity for cricket enthusiasts in our community to voice their opinions. Open to members, spectators, recreational players, seasonal fans, and anyone with a passion for the game, the session will be independently facilitated by Gordon Hollins, former CEO of Somerset CCC, who brings invaluable experience within the sport.

Yorkshire CCC Chair, Colin Graves, emphasises the importance of these sessions:

“These sessions will be invaluable in terms of helping determine the future direction of the Club. We want to hear from members, spectators, recreational participants, seasonal fans, and indeed anyone with a passion for cricket in Yorkshire to help us understand what kind of county cricket club is important to you.”
